Wilsen - Centipede

Have a listen to the beautifully haunting new tune from Brooklyn three-piece Wilsen entitled ‘Centipede‘.

The track’s taken from the bands forthcoming debut album ‘I Go Missing In My Sleep’ – out April 28th via Kobalt/Dalliance Recordings.

Tamsin Wilson, singer-songwriter, wrote much of the album in “fleeting pre-dawn moments” while in New York City. The London-born artist, who formed the band with Drew Arndt and Johnny Simon while studying at the Berklee College of Music, relocated with her bandmates to NYC after graduation to focus on music.

Explaining the unusual title Wilson said: “A centipede creeped under my door at the very moment I was beginning a new song. Stuck between ideas, I watched it crawl around the room until this track was outlined. I was amazed at its aimlessness—how content it seemed wandering on foreign ground—and wished I could feel the same. In the video we wanted to illustrate that pursuit of stillness within identity.”
