Terrorist suicide bomber targets Manchester Arena concert: 22 fatalities over 50 injured
Police have confirmed 22 fatalities and 59 injured after a terrorist attack at Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena.
Police confirmed the suicide attack took place around the exit to the arena at 10.30pm Monday evening, as the concert came to a close, deliberately targeting people as they started to leave.
Police have named the suicide attacker as Salman Ramadan Abedi, 22, a Manchester native of Libyan descent. Abedi is thought to have been known to police and the security services.
ISIS has also since issued a statement claiming responsibility for the attack.
