Ed Sheeran confirmed as final Glastonbury headliner
Just when you thought there couldn’t possibly be any further Ed Sheeran music related news he announces he’s the third and final headliner for this years Glastonbury Festival.
Confirming the long-rumoured news via Instagram post, the singer announced he will close the Pyramid Stage on the Sunday night of this year’s festival. He joins Radiohead and Foo Fighters in topping the bill.
Sheeran made his Glastonbury debut in the Croissant Neuf tent 2011 and last played the event in 2014. The date will be his only festival appearance of 2017. The 26-year-old heads out on a UK arena tour next month.
