Kraftwerk to release new compilation boxset: 3-D The Catalogue

Kraftwerk are set to release a new compilation called ‘3-D Catalogue’ via Parlophone on 26th May. The box-set is described as a “3D audio/video documentary of [their] performances in… museums of the world.”

3-D The Catalogue brings Kraftwerk’s concerts to the small screen in high-definition 3D with Dolby Atmos surround sound. It will be released on DVD, Blue-Ray, CD, vinyl and digital download, along with various deluxe and special editions.

Part documentary, part concert film, the project collects eight records from the pioneering German band filmed and recorded between 2002 and 2016 at The Tate Modern Turbine Hall (London), MoMA (New York), Akasaka Blitz (Tokyo), Opera House (Sydney), Norske Opera (Oslo), Paradiso (Amsterdam), Fondation Louis Vuitton (Paris), and Neue National Galerie (Berlin).

The set is being released to coincide with the band’s upcoming UK tour dates in June.
